Baku Azerbaijan: Day 1
Myself, City Councilman Jarvis Johnson and others from our delegation photographed in front of a fire heated by natural gas. It burns 24/7 and does not spread nor does it extinguish. It is a soon-to-be tourist attraction in Baku, Azerbaijan. FYI it was about 15 degress out there. Afterward we were escorted into a small room where we were served tea and given the history of the young independent nation of Azerbaijan. We were hosted by the governments Ministry of Culture. This was our first day out in what was one of the most educational experiences of my life.
