Minister Louis Farrakhan Visits Suffering City of Benton Harbor, Michigan

I just witnessed a report given by the Nation of Islam's Benton Harbor, Michigan Student-Minister Marcus Muhammad. The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan met with spiritual leaders in that city, which reportedly is 98% Black, about the worsening condition of the community in Benton Harbor. According to Bro. Marcus, Minister Farrakhan called Benton Harbor a "gold mine that needs to be serviced." The minister also pointed to the recent uprisings of Black youth in Benton Harbor. He emphasized that the energy of such uprisings must be harnessed and used for positive action. He said that the city of Benton Harbor can be used as an example for other cities across the country, if properly cultivated.
