Pictures from the Dominican Republic

Confession: This is where I was when Hurricane Ike made landfall in Galveston. I was with my brother, Ed, in the Dominican Republic where he celebrated his 39th birthday. The Dominican Republic is very rich in tradition, despite it's poor economy. The people of the Dominican Republic are some of the most proud and dignified people on the planet. They treat everyone like family and boy, the food is great. I encourage all to visit this island and visit your brothers and sisters from the Carribean. Their forefathers (most of them) were on the slave ships with our forefathers. They just got off a little early.
