Demetrius, "Big Meech", Flenory and his brother, Terry were sentenced to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to operating a continuing criminal enterprise that reportedly moved thousands of kilos of cocaine throughout the country from 1990 to 2005. Since 2000 the feds claimed to have seized 476 kilos of cocaine and over 5 million dollars in cash associated with the BMF. Lauded in the hip-hop community through it's association with many artists and executives, the BMF built a huge reputation as a crew to be feared and respected. They were known for taking over Atlanta clubs on any given night by showing up in huge number clad in all Black and commandeering the stage and "making it rain" cash money on the crowds. THIS SENTENCING IS ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF HOW MUCH THE DOPE GAME DOESN'T PAY.
