Here a a few photo highlights from Congressman Al Green's Healthcare Reform Townhall Meeting last night. Unlike many throughout the nation, the dialogue about President Obama's healthcare reform was civilized and without disruption. Congressman Green did a great job moderating the two hour discussion and answering great questions posed by attendees. What was a little disappointing was the fact that over 1,000 tax payers came out to particpate in the much publicized issue and there was very little mainstream media coverage. Seems like you have to have a gun-toting, tobacco chewing, disruptive fanatic on scene these days in order to get some decent coverage. Nevertheless we have to remember that if the media "makes you" then they can "break you" as well. As long as you have the support of "the people" you will be fine. That's what a wise man told me.
