KRIV FOX 26 News reporter Isiah Carey broke a story this morning about racially hateful graffiti found by two females reporting for work at Fire Station #54 at Intercontinental Airport. The two lady firefighters came in to find derogatory graffiti like "die nig---", "die bi---" and "nig--- lover" on the walls of the women's dormitory. According to Carey, the brainchild behind the popular blog "The Insite", the women claimed that the graffiti was also written on the picture of a female worker's deceased daughter. The words said "die, bi--- die". Only a sick human being would wish death on an already deceased little girl.
I, personally, am not surprised. Many thought that we were exaggerating the depth of the culture of hate in this department, but we are not. There is a cancer in the Houston Fire Dept. that needs to be cut out. As long as the upper brass in HFD continues to act as if though the problem does not exist, it will only worsen. I said it once and I'll say it again, the Houston Fire Department is "honeycombed" with white supremicists. And judging from the "writing on the wall", somebody is proud of it.
