KTSU Morning radio host, Lauren, interviews Houston Black Firefighters Association.

The students at Texas Southern University and the listenership of it's affiliated radio station, KTSU, were addressed by members of the Houston Black Firefighters Association and myself (Deric Muhammad)on Tuesday July 14th. We discussed the upcoming July 28th rally to put out the "Flames of Racism" and why it is important that the youth get involved in the movement to eradicate racism, among other topics. KTSU morning host, Lauren, asked questions centered around solutions to the problems that Jordan and James gave critical answers to. These two and others are trying to make the Houston Fire Department a dignified place to work for future generations like students at TSU. Great interview. Keep up the good work KTSU!
